After several years of developing and
implementing card programs for major companies, Kim created the Creative Commerce Group (CCG).
The Group specializes in Project Management, Implementations and Training in emerging Technical
areas of commerce. These areas include: Smart Cards, Electronic Commerce, Loyalty and Incentive
Debit Cards and Mobile Commerce.
Kim Joined the American Express Smart Card
Center of Excellence as a Project Manager in 1997. She was responsible for the technical
implementation of the Amex Smart Corporate Card. The multi-application smart card was developed
in conjunction with Continental Airlines, American Airlines and Hilton Hotels. It featured
electronic ticketing, automated kiosk check-in/out, loyalty applications, and traveler profiles.
Through the success of the projects in the US, Kim was asked to join the launch of a new product
for Amex in the UK...The Centurion Card. Kim was the Technical Project Manager for the Smart Card,
which accounted for 30,000 cards issued to the top 20% of their Platinum Card base.
Prior to American
Express, Kim was the Senior Development Manager for new products with
Maritz Performance Improvement Company. She lead the successful implementation
for the Exclusively Yours Card, an off-line debit product used in
the incentive market. Kim was named as an inventor on the patent,
"Debit Card Systems and Method For Implementing Incentive Award Programs."
The card was the first of its kind and was the catalyst of the electronic
debit cards in the $100 billion incentive market. She also lead the
development on the stored-value incentive product Your Choice Card
and a stored-value Gasoline Card. In their first two years of operation
these products generated over $200 million in revenue.
Kim is a graduate
